La Organización de Hispanos Latinoamericanos de Anne Arundel (OHLA) llama a la unidad y solidaridad tras el tiroteo fatal de 3 miembros de la comunidad latina.
Annapolis, MD – La Organización de Hispanos Latinoamericanos de Anne Arundel (OHLA) está profundamente entristecida por el trágico y sin sentido tiroteo que ocurrió durante una
celebración en nuestra comunidad el domingo por la noche. Tres miembros de la comunidad latina perdieron la vida y muchos otros resultaron heridos en el violento ataque.
Este incidente es un triste recordatorio de los delitos de odio que continúan plagando nuestras comunidades. Nos solidarizamos con todas las personas afectadas por este acto de violencia
sin sentido y extendemos nuestras más profundas condolencias a las familias de las víctimas.
Como organización dedicada a promover el bienestar de la comunidad hispana y latina, llamamos a todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad a unirse en este momento de dolor y apoyarnos mutuamente. Sabemos que la respuesta al odio no es más violencia, sino apoyo y unidad. Instamos a todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad a unirse en el rechazo a todas las formas de odio y violencia. Debemos trabajar juntos para promover la unidad, la tolerancia y el respeto por todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad.
OHLA agradece a los primeros respondedores y oficiales de la ley que respondieron a esta tragedia. Estamos comprometidos a trabajar con ellos y otras organizaciones comunitarias para
garantizar que nuestra comunidad sea segura, acogedora e inclusiva para todos.
OHLA sigue comprometida con la eliminación de la opresión sistémica y la promoción de la equidad y la justicia para todos. Hacemos un llamado a nuestra comunidad y líderes a tomar
medidas para abordar las causas fundamentales de los delitos de odio y la violencia, incluyendo abordar el racismo sistémico e invertir recursos para apoyar a las comunidades
marginadas.
Nos solidarizamos con todas las personas afectadas por esta tragedia y seguimos comprometidos a promover un mundo donde todas las personas sean valoradas y respetadas.

Organization of Hispanics Latin Americans of Anne Arundel (OHLA) Calls for Unity and
Solidarity Over Fatal Shooting of 3 Members of the Latino Community
Annapolis, MD – The Organization of Hispanics Latin Americans of Anne Arundel (OHLA) is deeply saddened by the tragic and senseless shooting that occurred during a celebration in our
community on Sunday night. Three members of the Latino community lost their lives, and many others were injured in the violent attack.
This incident is a tragic reminder of the hate crimes that continue to plague our communities. We stand in solidarity with all those impacted by this senseless act of violence and extend our
deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
As an organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of the Hispanic and Latino community, we call on all members of our community to come together in this time of grief and support one
another. We know that the answer to hate is not more violence, but rather to support and unite us.
We urge all members of our community to stand together in rejecting all forms of hate and violence. We must work together to promote unity, tolerance, and respect for all members of our
community.
OHLA extends our gratitude to the first responders and law enforcement officials who responded to this tragedy. We are committed to working with them and other community
organizations to ensure that our community is safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all.
OHLA remains committed to dismantling systemic oppression and promoting equity and justice for all. We call on our community and leaders to take action to address the root causes of hate
crimes and violence, including addressing systemic racism and investing in resources to support marginalized communities.
We stand in solidarity with all those impacted by this tragedy and remain committed to promoting a world where all individuals are valued and respected.
